Installation tips:

As cork is a natural product, it is recommended to adapt it to the ambient temperature of the room 24 hours before installation. FLOOR UNDERLAY:

  1. Before laying, it is important to ensure that the cement is flat, clean, dry, strong and stable and that it does not have any cracks (according to DIN 18365). In the case of residual moisture and mineral-based subsoils (e.g. cement), we recommend using a PE vapour barrier film of at least 0.2 mm thickness on the floor.
  2. Unroll completely and place the strips one on top of the other without leaving any space. Stick them together using adhesive tape (NOMA®PARKETT ADHESIVE & FIX).
  3. Then proceed with the floating installation of the parquet/laminate flooring.

WALL UNDERLAYER:

  1. Before installation, make sure that the surface is clean, flat and dry (it is recommended to remove the old covering). On new or porous walls, apply a bonding primer to facilitate wallpapering and removal.
  2. Coat the wall with NOMA®COLL CORK (cork glue) using a 2.5 mm-3 mm notched trowel (allow +/- 600 g of glue per m²).
  3. Cut the strips a little longer than necessary and place them on the still damp surface. Smooth with a wallpaper brush or rubber roller. Place the following strips edge to edge. If necessary, apply calico (NOMA®FIX) to the joints.
  4. Allow to dry for 48 to 72 hours before applying the coating.

TIP: We recommend applying an acrylic primer before hanging the wallpaper.
